The Y Team

Aims
In the Y Team we aim to help children to:

q Discover more about God and his love for them

q Explore God�s world and look after it

q Help and understand others

q Do things together for fun and enjoyment

In fulfilling these aims we encourage children to work together as a team with each child bringing his or her individual gifts and abilities to the team.

Award Scheme

The award scheme adds interest, fun, variety and balance to the programme. Through the scheme children are encouraged to try new activities and develop a sense of co-operation and teamwork in the group.

Children of this age enjoy collecting things, so there are lots of badges in the Y Team, some of which are illustrated here.
