Please abide by the following:

• No defamatory comments. A defamatory comment is one that is capable of damaging the reputation of a person or organisation.

• Do not post content which you've copied from someone else that you don't own the copyright to.

• Do not post messages that are unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually orientated, homophobic or racially offensive.

• No swearing. People of all ages read and contribute to the CLCGB Forums. Please don't use profanities or other words which might offend them.

• No spamming or reposting the same message, or very similar messages, more than once, or posting a message in the future to allow this to be top of the list.

• No personal information. It is not acceptable to publicise your own or anyone else's contact details including address, place of employment, name of educational establishment, telephone or mobile number, email address, etc. This is for your own safety and that of everyone who uses this forum.

• Keep your posts relevant. Posts which aren't relevant, or lower the value of the debate for everyone and may be removed.

• No advertising, promotion of products or services for commercial purposes.

• Post in English only. Posts containing languages other than English may be removed.

Common greetings and salutations in languages other than English may be acceptable.

• No impersonating. Impersonating someone (including other members) is unacceptable.

• No inappropriate usernames (vulgar, offensive, etc).

The CLCGB Forum is run on a fully moderated basis, where all posts have to be checked by a Forum Moderator before being published. The Forums Moderators’ Team consists of CLCGB Staff and a group of volunteers.

Posts which violate one or more of the above rules may be deleted, and depending upon the circumstances the user may be removed from the forum without warning.

In the first instance complaints regarding posts should be directed to forumcomplaint@clcgb.org.uk and a member of the team will respond to you. If you then do not feel your complaint has been dealt with appropriately you should send it in writing to CLCGB Headquarters.
