Football & Netball Results

The results are in for the National Football & Netball Competition.

I DON’T think we could have had a better day for the National Football and Netball. It certainly wasn’t “Welcome to Rainy Manchester” as we met on one of the hottest days of the year. It was very hot running the event, so I don’t know how the members got on who had to run about in the conditions. All credit to theleaders and members that we didn’t have anyone ill and everyone was sensible on the day. A big “thank you”, to Brian Mills and the team running the event on the day, and to the referees, they all did a great job. After a slow start caused by another group booked on the 3G pitches, things picked up and the event kept moving very well. Manchester was very well represented with teams from Oldham, Rochdale and Central taking part – JC
