Lee Whitworth is an Ex CLCGB Droylsden member.  Lee is bringing his Fire Band to Droylsden on 21^st April 2012, to perform a concert in Memory of Neil Tony Downes who lost his life in Afgan in 2007 and raise some money for Help for Heroes.  Lee has permission for bands to play within the Town centre on the Day of this gig to try and raise more money for Help Fore Heroes.

Lee is welcoming any bands that would like to get involved and make this a community day.  Any money raised whilst your band is playing will be spilt with H4H and yourselves.

Lee was a member of St Andrews Droylsden and Tameside Battalion Band until he joined the Army in 1990 and his mum was an officer for over 50 years and still helps the Girls company out, both of his sisters were also members.  As the Event has grown so much from Lee's first idea of just his bands concert at night he doesn't want the organisation that was a large part of his childhood to miss out.
