Will I have fun?

Will I try new activities and challenges?
Will I be welcome?

Yes, Yes, Yes, absolutely yes and all with those of a similar age in a safe, well-run environment.
All our leaders are vetted, DBS checked, and follow the Anglican church ethos.

So try us out, the journey starts here: Find Your Local Group

“It feels nice to be part of a group who help each other and are friendly. It makes me feel special.”

Maddison, aged 10.

What do the clergy think?

“I have been involved with CLCGB since 1969 and have seen how precious it was and what a difference it made in my Parish, All Saints & Martyrs Langley, which had a huge Company. It brings what young people need to young people, it gives them friendship, it gives them fellowship and fun."

Bishop Jack Nichols

We are gradually releasing more information about our 120th Anniversary.  We have setup a new Facebook group for Ex Members and Friends of the Brigade.  If you know anyone who has been in the CLCGB please add them as a friend to the group found at CLCGB Ex Members and Friends.

Online Donations

With funds running low we have signed up with Paypal to be able to receive donations online.  To help the Brigade, you can now donate online, enabling the Brigade to continue its role within your communities. Whatever the amount you may wish to donate, we will be extremely grateful for any gifts.  Unless donors' prefer otherwise, donors' names will appear in a special donations appreciation page on our website.  Click here to donate online.

Online Calendar

We have listened to feedback about the website and have created a new interactive calendar for users of the website to see what is in the calendar, and also to be able to add your own events (once registered for the website).  To access the diary go to www.clcgb.org.uk/brigade-diary.html

We will be shortly bringing out how to guides, to access and learn with the Get on Board and Progress Online Training.

Upcoming Events

Stores will be closed for a stock take between 27th June and 1st July.  If you require stock before this date please contact Zoe as soon as possible.

Linking in with stores closing for the stock take we will be transferring our website server and domain.  This is to allow the CLCGB to have a wider presence on the internet and also to be able to offer more content to Members, Leaders and Formations.  Also we will be going secure, so some of our pages with data, forms and Brigade Stores will show the https:// web address, this is to protect both server and also the user by encrypting data to and from the site.  This scheduled maintenance will take place over the weekend of the 24th June at 7pm to 27th June.  During this period the website and emails will not be available, therefore any emails sent over this period may not be received

If you have any events/news to go onto the website or in the fortnightly e-bulletin please email them through NHQ or email directly to admin@clcgb.org.uk

If you wish to unsubscribe to these notifications please return this email with unsubscribe in the subject.

If you know someone who hasn't received this email please forward it on, or ask them to register on the website for future updates.

Kind Regards
