The Whit Walk made a joyful return to the city at the weekend bringing together Churches from across the area for a display of faith and community.
The sound of music filled the streets and crowds gathered to support the celebration of unity and tradition for the Whit Walk.
The Brigade was prominent with Christchurch Ashton leading the walk and opening the service with a fantastic fanfare. St James Gorton with a combined All Saints Heaton Norris & St Marks Heyside were in the middle of the parade while the newly reformed All Saints and Martyrs paraded with their Church. The combined brass sections played two of the hymns during the service.
A huge well done to all Church Lads’ and Church Girls’ Brigade members who took part in this event.
