National Band Concert 2026
This year’s annual National Band Concert took place on Sunday the 3rd of May in the Civic Hall, Longridge. The concert was a sell-out, and the audience was entertained by an eclectic programme including marches, film and pop music. The concert was very emotional at times, seeing the late Janet Redding of Longridge Company and Peter Hill of Roxeth and Harrow Company remembered, our Adjutant, Lindsay Maclure Gregg of Chorley Company receiving the Exemplary Service Medal and our good friend and ex-member of National Band Jeff Holder receiving the Brigade Cross. The concert culminated with a superb medley of Elvis Presley hits and an encore of YMCA.
