Charlotte Walker a Senior, of St Marks, Heyside, Oldham, has been chosen to visit Westminster on the 20th July 15 and represent CLCGB at a Meet the New Parliament event, the event was organized by the NCVYS (National Council of Volunteer Youth Services) Charlotte will meet new Members of Parliament (MPs) and be able to ask questions about how parliament works etc. and perhaps even lobby the MPs to provide us with more support in the new parliament!
Charlotte was chosen because of many reasons, including dedication to Brigade, hard work in all her activities, DoE training and overall good attitude and demeanor on a week to week basis, and was felt the perfect young person to represent CLCGB.
