Eyes down for a Cause
On Saturday 15th August, we held our second Eyes Down for a Cause bingo afternoon, organised in memory of our wonderful Janet.
Janet’s daughter, Emma, worked tirelessly to put together a fantastic afternoon, filled with fun, laughter and plenty of prizes. We were delighted to raise over £1,200, which will be donated to St Catherine’s Hospice and CLCGB Longridge.
It was especially lovely to see Janet’s husband, Steve, calling the bingo numbers again this year. The afternoon also featured face painting and a fun Mamma Mia theme, making it a memorable occasion for everyone who attended.
We are incredibly grateful to all the local businesses who supported the event and generously donated prizes. Your kindness and generosity mean so much, particularly as the afternoon was held in memory of our much-loved Janet.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the afternoon such a success. Janet’s memory continues to bring people together, and we are so grateful to everyone who helped us celebrate her in such a special way.
Congratulations Rosie
We’re very pleased to congratulate our wonderful Rosie Williams who graduated from the University of York over the summer with a BSc in Psychology- we are very proud of all her achievements and look forward to seeing what the next chapter has in store for her.
