Weekly Highlights: Fun, Friendship & New Adventures!

We kicked off an exciting week with a round of icebreakers—a great way to make new friends and learn something new about familiar faces. The laughter and energy set the tone for the days ahead!

Sunday began with a lovely church service led by Great Sutton, where we were introduced to our week’s theme: animals. Later in the day, we cooled off with a swim at the Nova, and in the evening, we came together to support the England Women’s Team in the Euros, celebrating their win in style!

Monday was all about meeting extra special new friends—furry and scaly ones! We got to know Crempog, Casper, and Tiny (who, despite the name, wasn’t tiny at all!). A big shoutout to Sophie, who bravely volunteered to have a “scary” creature placed on her head… a tissue!

That afternoon, we visited Prestatyn High School for some fun-filled ‘I-Games’ and climbing activities. We wrapped up the day with a creative craft session with Clare.

Here’s a quick look at the rest of our week:

Tuesday: A relaxing morning at the beach, followed by a friendly game of Footgolf.
Wednesday: STEM challenges and a treasure trail, ending with a meaningful evening Communion Service.
Thursday: A whole day dedicated to games and team activities!
Friday: A fantastic coach trip to Llandudno, where we enjoyed skiing, snowboarding, and tobogganing—a thrilling way to end the week!

Throughout it all, we kept our energy up with three hearty meals a day, shared with friends and full of great conversation.

It’s been a week to remember, full of fun, learning, and connection. We can’t wait for what’s next!
