On Saturday 1st November, members of the Church Lads’ and Church Girls’ Brigade gathered at the National Memorial Arboretum for a special and memorable occasion, the dedication of the new Brigade Colour.

The service, held in the beautiful and reflective surroundings of the Arboretum, brought together members, leaders, and supporters from across the country. It was a time of thanksgiving, pride, and renewal, as the new Colour was formally dedicated for use in future parades and services.

Led by Brigade chaplain Father Chris, the service included prayers, readings and hymns celebrating the Brigade’s history and commitment to faith, service, and community. The dedication of the Colour marks a significant moment in the life of the Brigade, symbolising unity, tradition, and the ongoing mission to serve both church and community.

Following the service, members took time to explore the Arboretum and reflect at the Brigade memorial — a poignant reminder of those who have served faithfully through the years.

This was a truly special day for everyone involved, and a proud moment in the continuing story of the Church Lads’ and Church Girls’ Brigade.
